Kuranda Roots is a new, annual, contemporary roots and world music festival focused on Kuranda Amphitheatre, a distinct venue located in the lush rainforest of Tropical North Queensland.

Importantly, the event strives to capture the true essence of Far North Queensland's true music and cultural roots.

Over 20 National and local artists across 3 stages: a colourful blend of roots, world beat, reggae, funk, dancehall and electronica, will provide a unique and distinct musical experience in the rainforest.

Featuring Troy & Trevelyn’s Banawurun (Bris), The Dynamic Thrills (Bris), Zennith, Hot Rubber Glove (Bris), Rudekat Sound System (Bris), Saritah (WA), and many more.

Yummy food, arts market ambience, diverse and contemporary programming, and a family friendly atmosphere will establish Kuranda Roots as the ideal outdoor music event.
